Berkley joined in, and they both had Richard and I laughing. The funniest part was how serious Kaden was everytime I asked him to smile for the camera. Berkley loves the camera, and struck a pose for me. These two are always coming up with some creative way to play and have fun.Rianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14305201953659575158noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863723621186104301.post-40278700672924590862009-08-07T14:03:00.001-07:002009-08-07T14:03:14.017-07:00

Visit www.moblyng.com to make your own!

Rianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14305201953659575158noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863723621186104301.post-75333618650343050932009-06-08T20:36:00.000-07:002009-06-08T20:56:47.291-07:00The BearI just wanted to let you all know that I am so much in love with my husband that I am willing to compromise and cooperate (after many hours of arguement) and allow him to place a bear rug, yes, that is right, a real bear above my headboard in my bedroom. Richard shot this bear in Shoup last year, and paid a lot of money to get it made into a rug. I thought we had agreed to placing it in our basement when it was completed. Well, the basement is not completed, and there is nowhere else to put it, so I now have a large beast (head to tail= 6ft) breathing down my neck when I am sleeping. I just thought I would share, because I am not one for dead animals as decoraton, but for the love of my marriage it will be okay until the basement is finished.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguAq8klJ2PoL3rg2ZihsSkqBvSumgXiEjLcRudsZWB_lx6deEH08nQl0Vp0eRU4lXDsbgaoFHKs1jWmDGl6mKd2_3xO3_1XJM6Je_AMztiB-7rZ0g_du1McJVY2kGvYpF1NZPNQs44WJP3/s320/IMG_0822.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5345171706008251330" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjifzk9atYIxjNFJrmt6vGUoAt1mPEwrgO3XjoDOdl_6wwlN7UUck5E_rLU_knfkLd_bqXjDers8YxA6LoCzxcvn4Bgmv_OEBPnTk18YuF_AjTyNY5YEzIzQUKSCs2af3rvxqzTr5pn-4pH/s320/IMG_0823.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5345171696954765298" />Rianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14305201953659575158noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863723621186104301.post-84770542367312322372009-06-08T11:43:00.000-07:002009-06-08T11:47:32.335-07:00My Adorable Kids<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTGQAZ6Fy3sYcYwA5UJfm2vvsAeqpXclocmkDA4J8XZMjOsZngKFXB1w5obkDVUwSBhI5hresqn0iXvc8Xu1mbf8x-iNqS6FPpIznqzUkqEJx9Luo57FnUVoVWvuwup11ovgrH8ouxS_YY/s320/IMG_0792.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5345030290912188162" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzWdnRWDS7xBv2ZtYHSq7LGK9B0kkg2-iq0aBsfN6is9834pgzS3Cs6a__uN3yQH5dyqQdUsdelwkeWaNPMVM-MXf-2FRz-zDOYhSFa1Slit_2WCAkGq5NTF7UMrGj01AQo-GZtI_BxHrB/s320/IMG_0781.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5345030286673778482" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjB9hnwkhojguSuuNqWJKAB3uCk1Of_MkSccCqlFBMbEIxxzEENLtKduFQn3Odc0atg5G4EHSMV7u7H4l1ZxRlxrtfUVQAso8ICfCuqcOCQUwzyGzxNeURmW4hD8XfHVGFjdd4F2DOP7ER/s320/IMG_0787.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5345030283505400882" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgN9bLbZewKfaYAFtrKbju9WEscNbK2K8WCEXw_IR7GsHdfFBbGcYHULGalwqf_MUiAMlOkm-LPRqgeOPIdalKv-Qdox-DHiYIczWBUC84sqqxPVpNGEnapmxwgxn-TKP3yUu3LYtu55_Ey/s320/IMG_0785.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5345030274898040386" />
Berkley and Kaden are growing up so fast! I was able to go with my two sisters Kelsi and Jade, and then some friends Jen and Christy. The weather was beautiful! A nice change going from 20 degree weather to 80 degree weather. We arrived in Moab friday afternoon and were able to walk Maine street and shop around in the local businesses. Everything was really nice. We made sure to go to bed early Friday so we were ready for our run in the morning. Kelsi, Jen, and I kept asking ourselves what we had gotten into, in a nice way. Race day we woke up early and got up to the shuttles so that we could ride the bus up through the canyon where the start line was. The anxiety and energy at the top of the canyon was amazing! It was so much fun meeting new people and experiencing what it is like to be a crazy runner that thinks it is fun to run for over 2 hours (never thought that would be me:) The run was beautiful! We followed the Colorado river for the first 11 miles, and then ran into Moab for the last 2.1 miles. I completed the race in 2 hours and 39 minutes, and I feel pretty good about my time with it being my first race and not being a natural runner. The weather change was quite an adjustment as well, instead of finishing 13 miles with ice on my lips and eyelashes, I finished sweating like crazy! Saturday after the race we pretty much did nothing, and Sunday we were able to drive through the Arch's National Park. I will post pictures of us with our running gear on the night before the race, race day in the park, and pictures of our outing on Sunday. The big question now is whether or not I am going to keep running? I have not decided yet! I love to run because it is a stress relief, and I love the results I have seen on my body (I was not trying to lose weight or even worried about it, but when you run 20+miles a week I guess it is bound to happen). I do challenge anyone that would like to run with me in the next 1/2 marathon to let me know and we can do it together!Rianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14305201953659575158noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863723621186104301.post-37043202893959362642009-03-25T12:06:00.000-07:002009-03-25T12:13:18.979-07:00Disney on Ice<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJvbGZcsNYGxyNehkwFw7A9hvDxaD1SknkCd4HviTYfEkLwIvgIX74eO0fS8hcNvRTo_LWDlCcUx49RrUR5hRl74bEpcym3PpP7dWhpHGtCzpLgP3fNUF29Li9oJgQuXDdCEgARek5PuMi/s320/IMG_0729.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317205240428347682" />
Berkley and I were able to take a girl day and drive to Salt Lake and see Disney on Ice together. We had so much fun! When Mickey and Minnie mouse skated out at the first of the show, I will never forget Berkley's face. It made me cry to see how excited she was. She was glued the entire show and had to stand up so she could see better. I have been slow about posting anything, and I apologize. We had a great time on his birthday celebrating with family members. We actually had two parties, the first with my family, and the second with Richard's side of the family. At the first party Kaden was too quick and he put out the candle on his cake with his fingers. He was okay! At the second party when we started taking the cake over to his highchair and singing "Happy Birthday" he began to cry and would not look at it because of the candle. We thought it was pretty funny, not that he got burnt of course, but that he remembered. He is such a joy to have in our family. We love his so much! He is busy, busy, busy and always looking to solve the next problem. It is going to be a blast watching him grow up! Berkley was good not getting jealous that Kaden was receiving all the attention. She sure is growing up and loves to learn about everything. I promise the highchair is not the only place I ever take pictures of him:)Rianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14305201953659575158noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863723621186104301.post-38773229525076538632009-02-03T20:12:00.000-08:002009-02-03T21:06:20.421-08:0010 miles and . . . still alive!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhj9yp2t1UxuoSJBjOmNCz9x4fUeslGOo4W0aqYQ4OCAS__AeV42pwKagt-aFMJHCDIkjHiv7Px9XfVzpHt8vQAi8fWwtRdHgJN9KOdvkbohNCyxTcqVq2i6qtBI-mFvwDqfFZGqgpMwOjr/s320/IMG_0686.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298804109869963794" />
I just wanted to do a quick post on how the training is going. I am now up to 10 miles and I am still alive. I ran 10-miles two weekends ago while we were visiting family in Pocatello, and I did not realize it would be running the length of Pocatello and back. I felt great afterwards. To accomplish that many miles really makes you feel like you can do anything. I am set to run 12 this weekend, so we will see how that goes.

Well, enough about me. . . We get to say goodbye to Kaden's goopy eye finally!! He has had a plugged tear duct since birth and we went to see an Opthamologist last Friday and he is scheduled to have a tear duct probe done this Friday. I am sure he is ready to not have Mom wiping his eye every two seconds. He is such a great sport!! We are also glad that his 4-month ear infection finally cleared up! We were affraid he was going to have to get tubes placed as well, but luckily that cleared up this past week. He is finally sleeping through the night again, as am I, which is really nice. I am going to post a picture of him, because I just love him so much and think he is the cutest thing in the entire world. He has me wrapped around his finger, because he is such a Mama's boy, and I absolutely love it!!!Rianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14305201953659575158noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863723621186104301.post-25184633824607489482009-01-03T20:16:00.000-08:002009-01-03T20:34:45.272-08:00Berkley turns 3!!!Today was Berkley's third birthday. I cannot believe she is already 3 years old. Time goes way too fast! We had a lot of fun. She got to choose which princess she wanted for her birthday, and she chose Belle from Beauty and the Beast. So, I found some creativity in my bones somewhere and made her a Belle Princess cake. She absolutely loved it! The cake was fun to make, and I was a little proud of myself, because if you know me at all, you know that I am not a very artsy crafty type of person. Here are some pictures of Berkley and the cake.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYjHBFAZMQcIPIyJZtRzo6Pcpuj7pFGsAdhcomGLqnqZFczHw6dNbqIvPmX_q6GwYLGgKhUoRw75wvfzdygMcpRb23E1Iulx5wYAp-6AWaYAsQIQBCCk8Nm44sqlf_KKUbChyphenhyphenue0QhuyF3/s320/IMG_0147.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5287289105850542210" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjp62yxfmHz00GngOgl8D9ncoZDsRGFcKAVyJHxa-SjQWpvIkZeBhh5aR68BqGyKFexWD9NTAghB4KXLcLsBUjt4posI-jymOF8peT3hF0owEtwGJSziN3CLPegA7coP135Txo4GI73cywJ/s320/IMG_0149.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5287289102246213186" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNeOmAieyLaCRDzYZvi94jWoAEc81E4dH1lJdp_jiPpnndygXjB8ClpVPgyf_uF53YOqCIlOFLJrLGosnxmuC5R1gqI32_-GqP8KsVxb3kDa-zmEhTnBMv8sN8gN2PnuX8cttaWtjcdO2Y/s320/IMG_0146.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5287289113469435042" />

It is hard having a birthday and Christmas so close. We had a great time, and I am off one more week for vacation. I thought I would update everyone on how the training is coming for the Moab half in March. Three weeks ago I went to the High School near my house to run 1/4 mile sprints (which I have to do every Wednesday) and the snow was up past my ankles and I believe it was only 9 degrees outside. On my fourth lap my fingers started hurting so bad that I began to cry, and decided I probably would not be able to finish my sprints. The next day I broke down and got a gym membership. I am not a fan of running on a treadmill!! I am now on my 5th week of training, and I ran my first 8-miles ever this past friday. I was pretty proud of myself. I know many of you have probably ran way more than this, but it was quite an accomplishment for me. So, I hope that by the time the marathon comes, 13 miles will seem easy. I have been amazed at how quickly my endurance has increased. I did twist my ankle running outside on the ice 2 weekends ago, and am trying to get that injury to heal so I can move forward. Overall, I have enjoyed finally setting a goal again and challenging myself. I was at a point in my life that I felt like I hadn't been challenged or set a personal goal for awhile. I hope you all enjoy celebrating the coming of a new year.Rianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14305201953659575158noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863723621186104301.post-23785018351742197432008-11-22T12:47:00.000-08:002008-11-22T12:51:31.603-08:00Picture Tag<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6q3_kEh0HSaTQXVAKTRx88ZwnstUxjYaBdwlNRqniDECRdJDItMrRyEkBAIi4ByogvsmcjXVPjCJ6POw7hOAZhOOvD-evEaAxjEsypA92PHbCyVTRp6T1_RwhJ_sGK-fCl50SVuFjLXrV/s320/IMG_0186.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5271587203383522498" />
Well, I just got a picture tag from my friend Andrea, so I opened up the folder and picture number, and this is it. What a great picture! We had so much fun in Jackson Hole. We took Berkley and Richard's family to Jackson Hole to take a sleigh ride through the Elk Refuge. I had never in my life seen such an amazing animal. They have the hugest racks! Berkley was really good on the sleigh ride, but her poor nose was bright red. We hope to do that again this year. So, now I am going to tag the following people:

Wendy, Emily, and Jamie. Open up picture file number 44 and photo number 6, and tell something about it.Rianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14305201953659575158noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863723621186104301.post-44585529435822332672008-11-21T20:32:00.000-08:002008-11-21T20:52:26.926-08:00<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuCTvshC5PYOrnxk0u7bhr1se_DhyWY_nkviexjcqzs3CwlmRjjrjkFB1VYJdRMZa5ccMCvwLJ0yq41vLDNGWAphJfcfUsNt64Toud4rU8Our1hzXITglS3RLMZjtsKl85VYABdWRqjVuu/s320/IMG_0098.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5271340245290949874" />
It is nice to have some time to get back on our blog and make some changes. Richard is elk hunting this weekend, and the next 4 weekends after that. I do not get much sleep when he is gone, so I will have a lot of spare time to get things done. Of course, playing with my blog means that I am not getting the important things completed, but it is a fun distracter. We have both been really busy. I have been overloaded at work with my school clients and private clients I see after school hours. I still find a lot of time to be with my kids and we try to do fun things as a family. Berkley will turn three in January and Kaden one in February, and I cannot believe how much fun they are! They play so well together, and Kaden wishes he could keep up with Berkley. He will be there too soon for his mama. Berkley loves ponies, barbie, and anything girl, and Kaden is already such a boy. He has to figure out how everything works and then exactly how to tear it all apart. Christmas is going to be a blast! I have all of my family shopping done, which is a relief, but of course I will be out there at 3:00AM the day after Thanksgiving looking for all the deals. I am going to post a link that every person that reads this has to watch. The message is really important.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0r_FbARIn8Rianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14305201953659575158noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863723621186104301.post-12222758115074047912008-11-21T20:05:00.001-08:002008-11-21T20:05:15.953-08:00chatterton
Visit www.moblyng.com to make your own!
Rianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14305201953659575158noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863723621186104301.post-8843475307581722742008-11-19T20:47:00.000-08:002008-11-19T20:50:27.208-08:00I think I might be crazy . . .Well, I have finally done it! I signed up for my first half-marathon. This has been one of my lifelong goals, and now I am going to try my best. I have a lot of work ahead of me. My older sister Kelsi and I are going to do it together. She is amazing! She has lost over 120 pounds in the past 3-years, and she is probably going to have to carry me the last 6-miles. We are doing the Moab marathon in March, and I have heard great things about this marathon. Maybe someday I will be crazy enough to do a full marathon, but we will see how well I do in a couple half's first. I just thought I would share that I might be losing my mind :)Rianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14305201953659575158noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863723621186104301.post-10787834935428792222008-10-13T20:25:00.000-07:002008-10-13T20:32:52.679-07:005 Years!<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXoGR5dE7lkTxRBp_gvhnsqebprCeJuVYqIawMGi1vPF3z3XVC_IozuA_PdEZlgXyoBM3RXYVGxw0kgZorOsHWECQBpefnKJr_FYML_3Oc4H6HN5ahb08yuLwxOtdi7pWA6YlUiM5EtSVK/s320/IMG_0066.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5256847372066876546" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiMed0o0lQXsGMQhimmfuXb3LsRICmherIaAIsei1xjbXsxHQKGcjwTi2F7txfGKi5J-mJ1t0Wk2irLOGoN0VdYK49n_T6TuKKXbEwlCuD37sv5IIpZhH6p25JIRPOuYaN_TX2rFtQqT7m/s320/IMG_0064.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5256847376270532754" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_pgzOGTL9V96ymuTseT0WrDjf_kZhSR7ZObHaA3QRA6w7qs_ZNmhYwKN1l2sQ4lNWutkYkOySFsbZ4kEN-fHikljh9c2koq7kgRGXabqNzSmaA6RHK0DvTb8z5H_Nw6P2jQTw_8PUFRoM/s320/IMG_0067.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5256847380931113842" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_ipZqaQJX1L96TUFd2I1P418pGJ0q7sNskhm7gbQfxvxK4DkfhRZW4kECie7-mhS0KeBUihf5WnG8KVrGn0RrdoIvvnSoI2XKAVHWvFkKd12frQwKCDtVpQPXQgghLDYziPlnpT_HcSPs/s320/IMG_0643.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5256847395274293746" />
Richard and I were able to go to Jackson Hole this past weekend and celebrate our 5-year wedding anniversary. While we were there it snowed 5 inches, which Jackson is just not the same without snow. We love Jackson because of it's beauty and wildlife. We ate some really good food, relaxed, and looked at all the expensive stuff we couldn't afford in the gift shops. We were happy to get back home to see the kids.Rianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14305201953659575158noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863723621186104301.post-84926738086427494742008-09-29T16:07:00.000-07:002008-09-29T16:15:42.915-07:00Oh The PAIN!!!This weekend was an exciting one for Richard and I. We had finally decided to get a babysitter and go on a date for the first time since Kaden was born. Well, on my way to pick up the babysitter I got the most horrible pain I have ever felt on the left side of my body. I forgot my cell phone so I could not call and cancel the babysitter or have Richard come and get me. So, I pulled the car over to the side of the road and got out and laid down for a little while. I made it to the babysitters house, and as I started back into our subdivision I had to pull the car over to the side of the road again and began throwing up all over the road (yes, I know that is gross, and think of the poor babysitter in my car)! The pain was so bad that my body couldn't handle it anymore. When I got home Richard took the babysitter home and we went to the Emergency Room. After everything from Morphine to simply knocking me out cold, the pain was finally gone. They completed a CT scan and found that I had a large kidney stone. I went into surgery the next morning to have it removed and since then I pretty much sleep all day long. I still have a stint in my kidney to help decrease swelling and help any smaller pieces of the kidney stone to pass. I can now say that kidney stones do hurt worse than child labor. For any of you who have had to suffer through it, I apologize. For those of you who have never experienced it I hope you never have to. My nieghbors have been amazing and such a great help. I thought I would keep you updated. The stint will be removed on Wednesday and then hopefully my life will return to normal again. I could not believe how much I missed seeing my children through all of this, and am so greatful that we have family close that were able to help. It has been hard because I cannot lift either Berkley or KAden so I only get to hold them for short periods of time. I do feel blessed that it was just a kidney stone (I can say that now) and not something more serious!Rianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14305201953659575158noreply@blogger.com12tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863723621186104301.post-37779838450535379572008-08-23T09:32:00.001-07:002008-08-23T09:32:03.837-07:00Chatterton

Rianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14305201953659575158noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863723621186104301.post-7194590064780756262008-08-23T08:56:00.001-07:002008-08-23T08:56:10.685-07:00Chatterton

Rianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14305201953659575158noreply@blogger.com1
